If you allow the acrylic to dry THOROUGHLY, as in for a couple of days, you should be OK. I've never tried clear gloss enamel over acrylic, and used to be skeptical about spraying ANY enamel over acrylic, but it was pointed out to be that as long as the acrylics are allowed to dry thoroughly that everything should be fine. Ive tried it a few times since and haven't had any problems. Hopefully someone who has actually done the clear gloss thing will chime in, but I think you'll be fine as long as the acrylic has completely cured.

I have just finished giving my Saturn 5 booster a coat of Tamyia gloss acrylic white and now I want to apply a coat of clear gloss to finish but only have Enamel. What would be the ramifications of laying the Enamel over the top of the Acrylic.
