What paint are you using?
If you use acrylics then you spray cleaner through it and then distilled or filtered water through it.
If you use enamels then you spray lacquer thinner through it and that is it.
Spraying straight air through it does nothing.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

I usually spray some air through mine after cleaning just to dry out whatever I used to clean it with. Like Mike says, it really doesn't do anything since whatever you spray next is probably going to have the same thinner in it. Habits are hard to break though Big Smile [:D]

hmmm, if it's gravity feed, i think you can put a hose from the nozzle to the cup, and add a little thinner. a little thinner goes a long way
