compressor adapters

The threads on mine were starting to wear out too...I just wrapped a few layers of teflon tape to it, and then attached a male quick-release to it. Of course, I have female quick releases at the end of my regulator and moisture trap. But, this puts the wear on the quick-release, rather than the adapter. Where the adapter connects to the airbrush, that's plastic on plastic--put a few layers of teflon there too, and just snug it--don't overtighten

Sorry mike I should have made it more clear, I was refering to the dapter fro, Badger that connects the compressor to the air hose. Thanks MusicCity for answering my question.

Badger has a hose adapter that goes from their small hose size to 1/4" NPT. The instructions recommend that it you are using a compressor without a regulator that a bleed hole be drilled into it. If this is the one you are talking about, you only need a bleed hold if your compressor doesn't have any way to regulate the pressure.

What "adapter" are you referring to?
