What is the most effective way to remove paint?

After painting the body of the 1960 Ford Starliner that I was working on, I was not satisfied with the paint job. The paint job of the model is now a mess with about 3 coats of black gloss paint. I want to remove all these coats but I am not sure how I can remove them without damaging the plastic. Also there are a couple 1/48th scale aircraft which I painted in flat colors that I would like to remove.

The best thing out there is Castrol Super Clean which comes in a purple bottle.
It removes paint better than anything else. Easy-Off oven cleaner also works fairly well but takes longer.

l33t speak:

1=L or I
3=E
4=A
5=S
6=G
7=T
8=B
0=O
so the phrase "Floppy disk" can be F10ppY d15k

I always use Mr Muscle oven cleaner . Spray it over the plastic model , place it inside an old tupperware box ,seal down the lid and leave it for 24 hour's. I then mix a little bleach with another plastic container of water and gently scub the paint away with an old toothbrush... Be carefull of any small parts that might break off ; I tip the container of dirty water through a strainer to retrieve any small parts ... Works well stripping Humbrol , Model Master enamel paints and Gunze , Tamiya acrylics . Not so good on Holts Dupli-color rattle can paint finishes.
