Future Floor Polish
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 4:00 PM
I am just getting back into modeling after about a 10 year break, wondering about the future floor polish I hear a lot about being used for undercoats for decals etc?

Question is, does Future need to be thinned to be airbrushed, and it so, to what ratio?

Thanks!

I never thin Future. I airbrush It straight out of the bottle. I give the model several light coats separated by 15 to 30 minutes. Future will self level pretty well but several thin coats are better than one heavy coat. I give it at least 24 hours to dry and cure before applying decals. 48 hours is better.

I never thin it either. If you thin it, it gives a flat finish. For everything you need to know about future, go to swanny for it.
