He is another extremely talented painter.

Thanks for the link Josh. Wink [;)]

I've seen that Gina G before and enjoyed her stuff. I really like that Pamela's stuff as well. I love seeing other people's artwork, it always inspires me to do more and better work myself.

Josh,

Here are a few more:

This woman is, in my opinion, possibly the best motorcycle painter I have ever seen: http://www.dawneholmes.com/

And last, but not least was my email friend Gina G who unfortunately passed away from cancer this past year Sad [:(]
She was extremely talented. http://www.ginag.com/

Let me know if you need some help. I'm not the best, but I've done several of them.

I still have the scans I made, I just need to update them a little because I've done more work on the pics since the original scan.

I want to remake the whole site though, because I didn't much like the old one. It was okay, and fine for an hour or so worth of work. I hadn't build a website before and it was pretty amateurish. I'd rather make a new one than stick with that old pos.

My site is down right now because of the move. They deactivate the website for some reason when you change your address. I need to get it uploaded again, but I don't have the page on my harddrive anymore. I needed to make a new one anyway, and I do have MS publishing with several premade formats. I need to re-scan some stuff and I'll get to work on it pretty soon.

It's probably still on their server. You may still be able to get to it using FTP or if you ask they might send you the original files.

Yeah, I'll drink to that! We owned our house in another town, moved to Nashville and lived in an apartment for one year. I was ready to just start shooting in a circle because people in every direction were driving me nuts. Once our contract was up, we were out and back into a house.

I can't model just now anyway, I'm not situated in the new house yet. If I can't model, I might as well work on some more drawing and building my website again. It's much better owning a home than renting an apartment I should add!!

No, I don't blame people for not painting copyrighted material either. It isn't worth the risk at all. But, at the same time, I can't blame people for protecting what is theirs either.

Did you notice next to the picture I put the following:
"Artwork copyright of King Features Syndicate, Inc"
That protects me I think. Confused [%-)]
The company you don't want to infringe upon is Disney. They are bulldogs when it comes to their copyrights. I know a guy on the airbrush forum I go to who copied Bart Simpson on a T-shirt back when the show first came on TV and he got in trouble.
He sold two Simpson's T-shirts to a couple who he later found out worked for FOX, the copyright holders of the show. I think they settled for him paying them something like $700 or so in fines.
That was a tough lesson to learn. Most every artist I know will not paint copyrighted materials on T-shirts as it is not worth the risk and I don't blame them.

Living in Nashville I have lots of opportunities to see talented people get left outside looking in while non-talented people get the work. Admittedly it's mostly music around here, but the logic is the same. It isn't fair, but it's just the way things are. If you want it you have to fight for it because there are more people trying to get noticed than there are people doing the looking.

I want to get started with some airbrush illustration myself, though I don't have the area set up in my new house yet, or the brush to do it with.

Since I can't model here yet, I'm going to have to start drawing a lot pretty soon. I think I'm going to start a pic of a Spit9 this week.

There are a multitude of things to do with an airbrush.
T-shirt airbrushing is big here in the U.S. and some people make great money doing it. There are others who airbrush motorcycles and cars and make very good money at that also. Some do well also with body airbrushing and tattos as you mentoned, it just depends on what the market wants.

I did these T-shirts years ago by the way:
