RLM is a reference to the Luftwaffe official colors, sorta like the International FS # scheme. IJA stands for Imperial Japanese Army, again a common color reference. You'll find some model paint Cos., ModelMaster for instance, use these titles on their bottle labels, while others do not.

Since I've been away from the hobby for almost ten years Ashamed [*^_^*] I've sort of lost track of certain terms. Question [?] I'm building a Hasegawa Focke-Wulf Fw190A-8 and the painting key lists paints such as RLM Dark Green 71 and IJA Green. What does RLM and IJA stand for? Are they like FS numbers?
