Spray Cans And Airbrushes.

Yet another Question from me,
I think i read somewhere, not sure where, the you can buy a spray can, Lets say MM OD, and spray it into a cup. then you can pour the paint from the cup into your siphon or bottle with out thinning it and airbrush away. I guess it means that the spray can paint is already thinned. Is it? Can I do this, or is it not true?
thanks

Yeah, you can do it. It works fine. The paint is already thinned so it will spray from the can and usually doesn't need any more thinning. The only drawback is that with model paints you usually wind up paying more than if you just bought the bottle paint and added a little thinner.

Several people do that for their primer. They get a big can of Krylon for about $5, decant it and spray it through their airbrush.
