Matt,

I sent you an email with a number to call.

Let me know if you have any other questions that I might be able to help with.

Mike

Turned out to be a not so great deal...Evidently, and I don't know the whole story, but the guy who was running the business (somewhere in Maryland) was doing some pretty shady stuff, and was arrested. At least I didn't give the guy any money....So now I'm still in the market, and the Omni 4000 looks to be a pretty good deal. I checked out DixieArt.com to see prices for parts, etc. and it looked pretty reasonable. I have a Badger 350 that is older than dirt, and still sprays better than the Aztek. But it's not really that great as it's an external mix, and I'm hooked on getting a good double action internal mix brush...

Matt,

I thought you just bought a Badger 360 for a great deal?
What happened with that?

Mike,

Thanks for the heads up. The Omni sounds like a good deal, just looked it up on your company's (oops, I mean BADGER's) website. Let me know how to get in touch with them, etc... Much appreciated.

That airbrush is $59.95 brand new with free shipping from Dixie Art as a comparison. I wouldn't say that was a good price really.
I can direct you to my source where you can get an Omni 4000 with a hose for $81 plus shipping if you want an excellent airbrush for a good price.
That Paasche is also a good airbrush but I would prefer the Omni as it has a lot of innovations that the Paasche VSR90 is lacking, such as a cutaway handle, access to the needle tip, a better trigger, and a single needle/tip design.

Good Deal on Paasche?
Posted by ewc2003 on Monday, July 12, 2004 8:09 PM
I have a good friend who is selling the following setup for $100:

Paasche VSR-90 Gravity Feet Double Action Airbrush Kit
includes:10' braided hose, needle lubricant, airbrushing techniques book, 4 extra needles (2 each of the 1/64"-1" spray width and 1/32"-1" spray width), 20 sheets of Foto-Frisket film (I guess I could use it for camo jobs?).

He was going to do this T-shirt business on the beach for the summer, and found out he didn't have the patience for airbrushing. He also said he'd throw in some textile paints for the brush... Don't know if I'll EVER use those...

So, my airbrush enlightened breathren, is this a good deal? I have heard that the VL and VLS are good airbrushes, and I don't have the $$ for an Iwata (that's what birthdays and Christmas are for), but my Aztek is driving me insane.

Thanks for the input folks!
