                        Does it matter if a fan is at the beginning of a duct or the end? Most booths I see have the fan right at the booth opening. Would it be less efficient to put the fan at the end of the ducting and therefore have it 'pull' the air through the duct, rather than push it?

                        Seems to me if ya put it at the end of your duct it would not have the suction form there...unless its a pretty powerful fan.

                        I agree with woodbeck.
                        There is a reason why your bathroom fan and stove fan are right above and not up at the exit of the pipe. The fan needs to be close to the source to evacuate the paint and fumes.

                        I don't think I have ever seen a booth that had the fan at the end of the ducting rather than at the beginning ... but, then I guess if the fan had enough power it would work either way ... just my My 2 cents [2c] ... Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

                        If it had power enough to exhaust the fumes from the end of the ducting, then I think if you mounted the fan at the booth's exit you would have to strap your model down while in the booth! [:0] Wink [;)]

                        3d modelling is an option a true mental excercise in frusrtation
