John, you're referring to the the individual splinter pattern shapes printed on a paper sheet, if I remember correctly. I'd do as Scott recommends but I'd also suggest that you photocopy that sheet and instead work with the copy since you'll need to cut out the shapes. That way you'll still have the original sheet for reference in case you'll need it later. Arrange and stick the cut-outs into the Frisket or masking tape (Tamiya's is a great one) with white glue, then when dry cut out the Frisket/tape using the shapes as templates. Then you can apply the masks to the model. Just make sure to burnish the edges of the masks since you'll be needing a hard-edged camo pattern for your Stuka (I assume this is the RLM65/70/71 scheme).
