not that wet brian!! i'm just saying that sometimes light, misty coats create orange peel and a semi gloss finish. but, everybody has their own method. mine works great for me, yours works great for you. its a wonderful thing. later.

I prefer applying future in light misty coats. I laid it on thick once & it 'ran down' the sides & dried that way.

Future is the greatest product I have ever seen for modelling.

Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

I don't really use future to coat entire models. I use it mostly with a brush to coat small areas to make a good surface where decals will go. Keep in mind that future is self-leveling. This has several implications when using it. If you put it on too thick it will puddle in low areas. With thin airbrush coats you probably won't have this problem.

You don't need straight ammonia to clean with, Windex will do just fine but clean your airbrush as immeadiatly as you can.

I could add lots more but you'll get plenty of good tips on this topic. I look forward to following this thread myself Smile [:)]

hi Lee, i apply future in 2 very "wet" coats. another tip is to always keep a wet edge when applying future. clean your airbrush with any type of amonia based cleaner such as windex. swanny's website has an article called "the complete future" that has all the info you need. here is the article http://www.swannysmodels.com/TheCompleteFuture.html later.
