Badger 360 airbrush ?

The Omni does the job, and makes my work look good. It's also easy to use and clean, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

You'd be amazed at how long the paint in that colour cup lasts as well. I certainly have not found it a problem after trading up from a syphon feed 200.

Then my choice as you probably already know, would be the Omni 4000 for the reasons that SaltyDog mentioned.
The Iwata that he mentioned is also a nice gun, although it is quite a bit more money, but that is a personal choice.

Thanks for the info, I was thinking about the 360 because I honestly don't have a clue on airbrushing (never done it) and didn't know what type to get syphon/gravity. I gather from the answers that gravity is the way to go. and that makes sence as it would be easier to switch colors thanks

Is there a reason why you would need the bottle underneath the airbrush that would cause you to want the 360? If so, then I agree it is an excellent airbrush.
I find myself using the 360 a lot for smaller jobs because the color cup is small and it is easy to clean. It only holds maybe 1/2-3/4 of an eyedropper full though so it is limited as a gravity-feed for larger jobs.

I was pretty set on the 360, or even the Omni Matrix, until I found out how little paint the color cup holds. I just placed an order for an Omni 4000 Airbrush Set w/ Hose (T89K) for $62.59. My first airbrush was an Aztek... Hated It!! Second was a Badger 200NH, loved it, but I've started to encounter its limitations for finer work like freehand camo. I'm stepping up to the Omni 4000. I've asked questions & so have many others. It seems as though just about everyone has gone with the Omni 4000. Good luck!!

the badger 360 is a good choice, but the iwata hp-cs is a GREAT choice for modellers. if i were you, i'd be in the market for a gravity feed brush as these can be operated at a lower pressure which cuts down on overspray for fine line use. perfect for fine demarcation lines on camo schemes and such. the 1/3oz color cups on most gravity feeds are more than ample to hold enough paint for most paint sessions too. gravity feeds are also easier to clean. later.

waits for swanny and mike to come along. I use an Omni (Badger) 4000G and I am very happy with it. It's only gravity fed though.
