Cleaning Paasche needle?

Yes, there are brushes in that kit I mentioned small enough for your purposes.

The airbrush is indeed the H type. I might invest in an airbrush cleaning kit in the hope that they have a brush small enough, but for now will just spray a lot of lacquer thinner through it.

Could it be that the Paasche in question is a single action (e.g. Paasche H)? There the needle is hollow and can be reached with a very narrow pipe cleaner. On my H, however, I rarely do this and just clean what I can easily reach with q-tips and blow a bunch of cleaner through it.

The way you worded it I thought you were trying to get a pipe cleaner down the needle.
You are talking about the opening in the airbrush body where the needle goes correct? I never run a pipe cleaner in that area as pipe cleaners can leave tiny bits of material behind as cause problems.
I use the nylon Airbrusher's Brushes that they sell at Dixie Art, BearAir, and Coast Airbrush.

I actually mean the needle. The thing that inserts into the tip (nozzle). I have a fine spray needle and tip. The pipecleaner will fit into the initial opening of the needle, but will not go into the narrow part. I'm flushing the whole thing with lacquer thinner after I use it, but starting to wonder about buildup in the narrows.
