It would be a real shame to see you go Jose. Consider staying s'il vous plait.

Glad to see ya back Torio, if only for a moment. Sorry you took so serioulsy our jokes on Airbrush Lube. I too would like you to stay, but you have have to cut us some slack and not be so serious all the time. We like to joke around alot while we help, give advice and otherwise here. I hope you can find your way to seeing what we say with a lighter side, as we intend it to be.
Hmm lubing my Omni 4000 with the blood of an endangered speci?? Has some possibilites... maybe a bigfoot!!!

Jose,

Please reconsider staying as leaving is not the answer. Smile [:)]

My THREE Evolutions, you mean, chap ? Just keep them in my collection , one in .15 mm with 2ml cup and needle traveler limiter, one in .40 mm with 7 ml cup, and the third as spare; I also own two Gabbert PRS ( made in Leipzig, former East Germany but I have to fix one as it is a little disturbed ( I caught both second hand, so you don't really know how they were treated before you adopt them ); I also bought an Iwata HP CH and I think it's a piece of airbrush though I don't know it very well yet; and the Omni 4000 which I consider to be the most honest and reliable workhorse I've got in my hands. I know I lack one or two more to "complete" my collection, maybe an Efbe or a Devilbiss Sprite. You see, apart from the fact I am not very addicted to weapons notwithstanding the fact that laws are very different on it in France, I think I would be very glad, if I work a lot, to become the best airbrush slinger in my house when I grow older.
Mike, nothing could be more sincere as I esteem you a lot; I mean I never saw you face to face but I observed a lot and I thought you were a very dedicated and wise man. You'll have a great time with Ken ( could you just shake his hand and say to him : "Merci Monsieur" from José BALLESTER ? Thank you )

Alright, chaps. I've got to go know Try to always remember that in the initial forum everyone ( well, almost everyone) had the right to express. I only went to salute Ken. But I don't feel at home here anymore. I read about life in general, about houses, about kids, about troubles to enter one or another town and I never raised any "off topic" objection; if I didn't like, I went elsewhere. I never asked a question, I only tried to give an answer if I could. I don't care if you lubricate your needles in the blood of endangered species, it would be your conscience. These are the reasons why I think I won't come back here anymore.
Goodbye Mike, and 1337, and Salty and Madda, Keyworth, Shermanfreak and a few others I can't remember at the time. This place will be only as beautiful as you will want it to be.

Thank you all for coming José

Jose,

It is good to hear that you were treated well my friend and this is exactly the reason I always say that Badger is second to none when it comes to customer service. Thanks for the kind words also, I appreciate it.
In regards to Ken Schlotfeldt, yes he is a good guy and treats his customers very well. He will be attending the IPMS Nationals in Phoenix in about two weeks and I will be spending quit a bit of time with him learning all I can. Wink [;)]

Dear Sirs

I only wanted to make this intervention to salute someone as he deserves it greatly. The person in question is Mister Ken Schlotfeldt, president of Badger and T&C.
To make the story short, I purchased an Omni 4000 from one of your greatest shops and I received it in a breeze; but there was a default in chrome plating ( at least for me ) so digital photographs to the shop to show the detail and see what could be done, Apparently, there was no solution, so i asked for a replacement shell and in the meantime I discarded the airbrush to show it to a chrome plating company in my area...and then I snapped it ( the air duct was no longer set to the body ) .
Now don't misunderstand me : there was no resentment from me, neither to the shop nor to T&C ( I believe that any industrial process can generate a few mistakes, I was just unlucky this time )
And second statement: you can have a part of your bike re-chrome plated but you can throw away a damaged airbrush shell because of the chemical treatment before chrome plating that ruins all the threads.

So I sent an email to Ken S. to tell him what happened. Although he must be a very busy guy, he took time to answer me very quickly and he found a solution for me as quickly as possible, and well beyond my expectations, and he told me that was included in guarantee so no fees at all.

So I would like to take this occasion to thank him publicly : Ken Schlotfeldt, you are a great and good man, thank you very much indeed. I promise I'll send you pictures of models exclusively painted with my Omni as soon as possible. And although I'm not much of a Badger man, thank you for producing such good stuff (specially...Omni 4000)

Thank you all for having read my little odyssey

José BALLESTER ( torio )

P.S. This one is for Mike V : Mike, I was happy with my German airbrushes until you perverted me with your recommendations on the Omni 4000; Mike, it's your only fault if I purchased an Omni 4000 and had all these troubles. Thank you very much, Mike, because my now repaired Omni 4000 gives me most pleasure and deserves its place alongside my Evolutions and other Gabbert PRS (and Iwata HPCH ). Don't stop, Mike, pervert other ones and I hope they'll be as happy with their Omni than I am with mine.

Thank you all for coming José
