Skin so soft
Posted by Tataki Sila-Jing on Thursday, July 22, 2004 3:37 PM
Hey guys
I'm still some what of a newbie (lots of study little experince) and right now I'm painting with enamels which doesn't go over well with the bride. I plan on making a spray booth for Minn. winters are cold and the garage is too dirty for painting. Not long ago a friend was using Avon's Skin-so-soft to take tar off his hands and he said it would work great to clean up paint. Has anyone tried this? Is it a dirty little secret in the hobbiest comunity that we are not supposed to talk aboutCensored [censored]

HEY,
Ive never heard of it, and no, its not a secret. Anything that could help get enamel off without washing them a thousand times would be helpful.

Just wear latex gloves when you paint and you won't even have to wash. Wink [;)]

The only thing I new Skin-So-Soft could be used for besides the Avon recommendations is the it keeps mosquitos away. Powerful stuff! I am actually afraid to put that stuff on. If it takes off paint and keeps those flying pests away, what is it going to do to my skin? I look like a rotten prune by the time I'm fifty, oops too late already does:):):)

Good Gravy man!! We're not supposed to mention it, ooh, we're all doomed now, the cat is out of the bag. We're ruined I tell you RUINED!

Actually, I usually just scrub paint off my hands with a dobie or scotch brite scrubbing pad.
