What process are they using for cars to get a super gloss finish? Is it not something that could be used on planes as well? Most of what I paint is flat ot semi-gloss so I don' t have a lot of experience with gloss finishes, but paint is paint and I'd think that what works on cars would work on planes.

super gloss for Gulfhawk

I'm getting ready to start on the AM Gulfhawk. I've read how to get a super gloss on cars - but - they have smooth surfaces with no panel lines or 'protuberances".

How would you approach getting a super gloss surface on the Gulfhawk when it has 12 "bubbles" ( for lack of the correct word) just on the cowling, much less all the other areas. Thanks, Bill
