Crown Cap?

don't bother, it's easier to clean the tip though, in case of tip dry

When I got my HP-CS I ordered a Crown Cap at the same time because it was only $12 extra, so what the hell.

Was it worth it? Good question, I don't really know, but I use mine all the time and it seems to work as advertised.

FWIW, get yourself the .5mm needle, .5mm nozzle and .5mm nozzle cap (check this with saltydog). This will turn your HP-CS from .35mm HP-CS to .5mm for wider coverage jobs for about $20.

You won't be sorry ordering the Iwata it's fantastic.

i agree with darson my friend!! i ordered my hp-cs and didn't mention a crown cap for it and i got one anyway!! for free i guess, because the invoice didn't mention anything about a crown cap either. the .5mm n/n combo is ok, but you can survive well enough without it. i very seldom use mine. i like how the .35mm n/n atomizes paint! its like dew from heaven my friend!!LOL. anyway, you can tell a little difference with the crown cap, no doubt. later.

Unless you hold the airbrush really close to what your painting you will not notice a difference. The crown cap was made for illustrators that hold the airbrush very close to the surface they are spraying. The crown cap cuts down on turbulent air when spraying close to a surface .
They do make cleaning a bit easier as it is allows better access to the needle that sticks out from the nozzle.
