That is a personal choice really but from a few that have commented on this forum such as John, and people I know who have used both, the Sotar sprays a little finer. You do of course have to have very fine pigmented paint to flow through these airbrushes with the fine tip/needle in them as they are small openings. I have the Sotar with a medium tip/needle on it and it sprays great for most anything I would want to do with it.
