Big Smile [:D]hi guys,i know this has been asked befor,but can i use acrylic paint over enamel? will it harm the other paint?or just look bad.any help would be greatBig Smile [:D] thanks guys.

acrylic over well dryed enamal is no problem
enamal over an un-cured acrylic could hurt ya

I agree with Rik.
In all reality you can spray any paint over another if done correctly.
There are of course exceptions when two types are incompatible for one reason or another.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] - No question of it. As long as the enamel is cured painting acrylic over it will not be a problem. I do it all the time. I use enamel primer under acrylic color coats and on cockpits and other highly detailed areas I usually use an enamel primer or base coat and then detail with acrylics.
