Sure Jeff, if he removes the head first.
I am thinking that he removed the needle out of the front which will leave paint along the needle as you remove it, especially if there was still a bit in the airbrush when he removed it.

Glad you solved the problem Biohazard. Smile [:)]

All i had to do was to tighten the packing washer and the problem was fixed and they also sent me some washer for free just in case it starts to mess up again Cool [8D] Thanks for the help and happy modeling

Did you remove the needle out the front of the airbrush?

That doesn't sound normal to me but then I use Badger brushes. Only about the last inch or so of my needle has paint residue on it. If it's working right I wouldn't worry about it, but you might drop Paasche an email and ask them if nobody else has any ideas.

Needle Question
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 5, 2004 5:42 PM
i just got a paasche VL about 2 weeks ago and have only used it 3 times so far. But my question is that when i go to clean my needle about 75% of it has paint on it. I'm afraid i broke a seal or something or is it normal for most of the needle to have paint on it. thanks for you help
