Chris,

Yes they are great instruments but when a dealer pushes one brand much more than the others that he sells it makes you wonder what is up.

I like Dave at Coast Aibrush but I think he pushes Iwata much too hard.

Chris,
cannot say abt coast, tho it seems to be well spoken of here.
just wanted to say i ordered a back up AB from bear air on a monday & had it wednesday!
they are in Mass, and i am in PA, but that is impressive.
came w/ an instructional video by createx, a bottle of cleaner from createx and their catalog/bible all at no charge.
good price on the AB too.

not trying to change your mind abt coast.
just figured these guys did right by me so i would pass it on.

LOL. i got all the airbrush i need in the hp-c and hp-cs for all of my modelling needs. i sometimes get a little aggrevated that i dont live near a large city so i can have local access to the things i need for this hobby, but, the distance acts like a barrier so my wallet can recoop!!Tongue [:P] BTW, ain't California scheduled to slide off into the ocean in the near future?..................jealous.....................no!!LOL. later.

I go inside Coast about 2 times a monthe... i live about 10 minutes from it. greta place, great people with everything you could ever want.

Hey Salty, they have a 6'x3'x3' glass counter with every IWATA made, almost. I say they have about 30 different models in there... including the HP-SC with the MAC valve on it.... drooling yet. They sell em at cost, crying yet?

I hate it that you guys are sweltering down there ... it was 94 here yesterday and 78 today. Maybe it will sink down your way.

I've heard of Coast to, but haven't dealt with them. Like Chris says, if MikeV swears by them then they gotta be good Smile [:)] I didn't see anything about their shipping costs (but admittedly didn't look real hard). Dixie Art doesn't charge shipping on order over $45 so that might make a difference.

Anybody ever dealt with this company?
Posted by lizardqing on Thursday, August 5, 2004 7:32 PM
As I have had it with the airbrush I have right now. Easy decision since it has now gotten to the point of only putting out air. I went on a search and found this company, they seem to have alot better prices than I found elsewhere for stuff , which would make me want to make sure they are legit before handing them any $$. http://www.coastairbrush.com/pages/34.html
