message for Mike V
Posted by Bismark on Monday, August 9, 2004 10:18 AM
HI,

A while back I noticed you had posted a phone number to purchase badger products. Does that apply to the Omni 4000 as well? I ordered one over a week ago from Dixie Art but I haven't heard anything from them and after calling them they were not able to provide me any information. I have a pile of armour waiting for some paint and if I can get an Omni 4000 yesterday I will. I will order one right now even if the dixie art item shows up. I don't think it's a bad idea to have one for oils and one for acrylics. They are pretty reasonablly priced. Thanks for the help

Hi Bismark9.

Here is the message I left once before:
QUOTE: If you call this number and ask for the "Fine Scale Forum Discount" they will give you 40% off the retail price of any Badger product made. The number is
1-888-499-6996.
Make sure you mention the "Fine Scale Forum Discount" or else you will pay
full retail price.
If they cannot answer the phone then leave a message with a number and they
will get back to you within 24 hours.
The part number to order the Omni 4000 with a hose is #T89K and it retails
for $135.
With the 40% off that will run you $81 plus shipping.

This price also applies to all Thayer & Chandler products including the Omni airbrushes.

Thanks for the speedy reply MikeV. I tried the toll free number you left but because I am calling from Canada the number won't work for me. Do you have a regular number or the exact company name and extension or something? Thanks for the help.

Hi 1337,

Have you ever purchased anything from this website? Has anyone else have some experience with them? I am just a little leery of giving out my credit card number these days.

Thanks.

Also, look at the message under that 100LG on that website.
It says "Usually ships in 1-2 weeks."
I think he has waited long enough. Big Smile [:D] Wink [;)]

Mike, Quick question about the F-15E on your reply. ( pretty sure it's an E as it looks like it has conformal fuel tanks also the colour) How much do you know about them? I am an ex-airforce type from Canada and we used to fight against them. I have some good stories.

Guy,

Yes that is an F-15E from Seymour-Johnson AFB.
I know a little about them but I am definitely no expert on them.
It is my favorite modern aircraft though and has been for many years.
I would love to hear some stories if you want to send some my way in an email or even in the 'Aircraft' forum if you want.

Mike, I sent you a fairly long email. Let me know if you received it.

Thanks,
Guy
