                        Like Mike said, laquer thinner should get it out. If not, try soaking the nozzle in Castrol Super Clean over night. That stuff does a dandy job of cleaning out airbrushes, but it seems to be kind of tough to rinse off itself.

                        Actually you have to be careful as lacquer will make arcylics gum up in the airbrush if not cleaned thoroughly enough.

                        Did you try that cleaner that you mixed up? If it is an acrylic then that should work.

                        I bought some coat d'arms primer and cant tell what to clean it with. I put some floquil through it and it gummed really bad. Having a real hard time getting this stuff out, anyone know what to do?

                        Of course it's primarily just to wash out your thinner concoction Smile [:)]

                        Actually, just plain water is all that's really needed for some acrylics. Some colors of PolyScale and Tamiya disappear with just water.

                        I keep a big bucket of water (as in one of those 5-gallon paint buckets) handy. I blow some thinner through the brush, dunk the whole thing under water and flush it clean. Shake the water out and it's ready for the next color.

                        You could use it in between colors but make sure that you spray plenty of water after the cleaner or you may have some paint problems. Wink [;)]

                        Thanks Mike a mil. The ole Omni is spraying brand new again. Was wondering can this be used alot like between color changes or is ther something in the mix to corrosive for that much use?

                        Mix 2 parts filtered or distilled water, 1 part Simple Green and 1 part Windex.
                        I put mine in a big squeeze bottle like the ones you can get at Coast Airbrush. Wink [;)]

                        awwwww man, its on the tip of my tongue!! it has windex, simple green, and something else. i used to know it till i quit using acrylics that much. later.
