Thanks all!

I didn't even realize that the paint cup was so small an the 360. Found a nice price on an Omni 4000 w/hose.

Thanks again, I really appreciate the feed back

I have what you have, the A470, and was about ready to buy what you're considering, the 360. When I found out about the really small color cup, I decided to go with the Omni 4000. Lke Scott , I'm really happy with it.

Lee,

The 360 is an awesome airbrush but the size of the cup is very limited as der_jackal mentioned.
If you don't mind using a glass jar under it for bigger jobs then it is great.
The metal color cups won't fit into it because of the shape of the built-in color cup.
One advantage it does have though over all other airbrushes is the ability to rotate the head to any angle you want for getting into tight spots to paint.
You can rotate the head 90 degrees and hold your hand sideways on the airbrush to get into an area that other airbrushes would spill the paint.
It all depends on what you are looking for.
I use the Omni 4000 the most and the Badger 360 second most.

Mike

I just got my 360, and so far it's been incredible. I've not done anything beyond "retraining" myself on some scrap bodies and parts.

I've found you can't get enough in the color cup to do a good base coat on a 1/24-5 car body, but that's why it's also siphon feed. ;)

I don't have a 360 but MikeV does and I trust him when he says it's a good one. I was torn between it and the Omni 4000 a few months ago, and what steered me away from the 360 was the small paint cup and the fact that it doesn't have a cover on the paint cup. I spray mostly acrylics and don't need them drying out in the paint cup. I went with the Omni and have been very happy with it.

Badger 360 to replace Aztec

I have an Aztec 470 and I am somewhate happy with it, but not overjoyed.

I have been looking at the Badger 360 as a alternative.

Has anybody been using the 360?
Is it the way to go?

Thanks
