what can I mix with olive green to produce olive drab? if it possible. the local shops (such as they are) all seem to be out! thanks all!

A little brown should do it as OD is really an olive brown color.
Put a drop of medium brown in it and mix it and then add more if you need it until you reach the desired color.

Actually OD varies from different manufacturers.
I have seen it more green and more brown.
I was referring to Model Master's OD when I said to add brown.

I used MM Acryl OD on the bombs on my A-1H but I didn't like it as I thought it looked too brown. I ended up painting them with the same color I used on my F-15E bombs which is Green Drab.

Vallejo makes an aweosme OD... little to brown for tanks... but its a good one.
