I haven't seen any indication of that round here. The only non-acrylic Tamiya paints I've seen were in spray cans. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong though.

Tamiya X-21 Flat Base is available in BOTH an acrylic type and an enamel version. Of course you want the acrylic version to mix with acrylic-based Future even if you're applying the flat coat over enamel colors.

Tamiya Flat Base is acrylic, not enamel. As Woodbeck said you cannot mix acrylic and enamel paint, but since both Future and Tamiya Flat Base are acrylic they will mix fine.

The higher the percentage of Flat Base the more flat the finish will be. For semi-gloss, try about 6 parts Future to 1 part Flat Base. For a flat finish try about 4 parts Future to 1 part Flat Base. 4:1 is what I normally use for a flat finish.

You should never mix Enamels with Acrylics (future). Find the Tamiya acrylic flat and experiment on your mixture (thought all Tamiya paints are acrylics, whered I get behind at?)
