scer16,

To the best of my knowledge, no one makes these three colors in spray cans. I'm also unaware of any three colors that are available that would make realistic, close substitutes. Good luck in your search.

Testors makes a military color called Afrika Mustard that is closer to Sandgelb than Dunkelgelb and would be appropriate for an Afrika Korps vehicle. There were also some vehicles on the Eastern Front around the time of Kursk (Summer 1943) that used Sandgelb by itself or with Olivgrun for camo colors. I suspect that the Tamiya color might be close to this color as well, but I don't know. You've got to be careful not to get an automotive color that will give a high-gloss finish. You'll be spraying Dull Cote forever to get a true flat finish.

If they spray is as close to their bottle acrylic, than Tamiya's Dark Yellow is a great match for Dunkelgelb.

i have no experience with tamiya airplane(AS) paints per se, but id say that since airplanes arent shiny, you ought to be ok. (check with someone else to be sure, what i said is just my litte logic, not experience) Tongue [:P]

Tamiya recommends these spray can paints for German three-color camo:

TS1: Red Brown
TS2: Dark Green
TS3: Dark Yellow

Here they are on my old Tamiya 1/25 Panther A:

They look close enough to me!
