im pretty new to using maskol (so thats why my previous models all looked sketchy Tongue [:P]) will the maskol ruin my brushes ? its latex, so will ti get stuck ? also, what will thin it ? petroleum based or alcohol based thinners ?

water, and once you use it rinse your brushes

I personally use a Q-Tip to put latex masking material on my canopies...I can toss the Q-Tip when I'm done, and I get a nice even coating with them. Just my $.02. Big Smile [:D]

coool ! i didnt think of using q-tips ! now i dont ahve to clean up brushes ! :D

....good point knight.....i'd not considered that....
my regiment for liquid masking agents has been in using one or two old nylon bristled brushes trimmed somewhat to fit their new purpose......and cleaning them with good 'ol de-natured alcohol........between the nylon bristles and the de-natured alcohol..........cleaning has always been of little consequence.....
