tominator, I use acetone to thin these paints. Works very well but it's about twice as expensive as lacquer thinner. Some on this forum have said that lacquer thinner is the one to use. Pick your poison!

Also, you can use this stuff as a putty to fill small scratches as it is very thick out of the jar.

hi
i just got some mr surfacer 2 use as a primer for my models, but i saw somewhere on the net that its used as a putty for scratches n gaps.
does ne1 know if this is true?
if it is a putty should i use the mr base white 1000 for a primer?
andf finally, what do i use to thin these 2 paints?

ps i got some micro sol/set y'day and its da bomb!!!! decals hold every curve!!
