                        Need some advises on the difference and when to use white or gray. Thanks

                        only dif is they;ll effect the colors over them white will lighten grey will darken

                        I would go with white purely because it seems to provide an "automatic' highlight when overcoated with relatively thin paint. Also for figures go for the fine surface primer rather than the thick to preserve the detail.
