Applying Alclad II or Spaz-Stix with flow pens
Posted by jdavidb on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 12:52 PM
anyone know if it works to use Alclad II or Spaz-stix metal lacquers through a flow pencil or something like the Kemper fluid writer instead of airbrushing?

Alclad2 is specifically designed for airbrushing & states this on the label. However, some modelers have reported success brush painting it on small areas. I'd sure test on a scrap piece before trying it on a model.

I have had success in brush painting Alclad2 in very small areas to clean up glue spots, scratches and the like.
