Tamiya FS Primer
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, September 5, 2004 5:20 PM
How long after laying down a coat of Tamiya Fine Surface Primer (white) do you have to wait until you can overcoat with your base color? In my case, I intend to use Gunze Sangyo acrylics over it.

Just wondering how long it takes to settle down. Great primer, BTW...

Thanks,

-Bobby

24 hours is best, but overnight seems to be fine.

I agree about it being great primer. I use it a lot.

As do I. I use either the white or grey primer. In fact the white primer makes a marvellous base for successive white coats.

cheers
