Getting rid of the Iwata Eclipse
Posted by jdavidb on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 5:52 AM
I thought some of ya might be entertained by the fact that I scheduled an auction to begin tonight (the 8th) at 10 pm PDT to run a 3 day auction to get rid of my Iwata Eclipse HP-BS and the 10 ft air hose that fits it. It needs a new nozzle, and I'm gonna buy a Badger rather than pay Iwata's ripoff price of $18 for a nozzle. Ever since I started looking at prices for parts on that airbrush, I've regretted getting mixed up with Iwata. I started the auction at $1.00 heheheh. I'm just gonna cut the losses, accept the fact that Iwata suckered me out of $105 (airbrush) + $18 (airhose), pack it up, send it to someone else & get a Badger.

yeah my ebay ID is jdbga, and its item number is 8130522483. I don't know if it will be visible until after the auction starts. I guess 10 PDT is 6 PM to us.

I'm not disappointed in the Eclipse's performance at all. It's the prices on their stuff that make me wanna just purge it and never pay their bloated prices again.

I'm gonna buy something today. I'll have to make a deposit first then use the debit card. I like the specs of the Vega 1000. It can be used with a fine, medium or heavy tip. Maybe I should get that one. Either that or the Omni 5000.

The HP-BS is almost brand new too. There's an Iwata 10 ft braided hose with it. It was August 3 when I bought all of this. This has no nozzle though. You want it even though it has no nozzle? The nozzle costs $17.35 at dixieart.

I guess this would be a cool setup for you to have this one with a .35 mm tip since you have all that other stuff already.

I'll email ya. I might just see if you'll sell it to me. I've got a nephew needing something like that. I'll either get it for him or me.
