Here's the technique I use to duplicate a turning propeller...

cool... I am thinking of trying that just for practice on an already built model... I have it hanging anyway so adding the in-motion propeller and being seen at a slight distance and up a little I think it would be a mighty fine effect...

Actually I had a better idea, I have a 'flight' of pacific based fighters above my head right now, I might do both of them... substituing yellow for the white...

I got to looking at pictures of propellers while in flight, and it seemed like an airbrush could render the same effects.... I got to experimenting with it, and it really blew my mind how well it turned out.



Hanging models would look fantastic, and give them a little LIFE too! Wink [;)]
