most squishy spring?

I really have no idea which is softest, but the trigger tension on all the Omni series is adjustable to nearly nothing so it's really a moot point which spring is softest. I personally keep mine set as stiff as I can get it.

I agree with Scott.
Just remove the handle and loosen the spring adjuster counter-clockwise and it will get softer.
I like mine on the somewhat stiff side also as I feel it gives better control.

Yeah I've got it all the way out almost touching the needle nut. I'm liking the feel of it where it is; I'd just like to get that spring nut to go up further without increasing tension. I'll try cutting it a little shorter (and I'll have a spare spring ready just in case). The trigger action is quite grainy when tight, but very smooth when loose. It's almost as smooth as the Eclipse when backed all the way out like it is now.

Put some Needle Juice on the needle and trigger and it will feel much smoother.

I find the trigger on my 4000 too stiff when spraying mottle, where I need more control, so I'm assuming that reducing the trigger pressure would give me that?

It's worth trying, Karl. I like mine stiff, it dampens "Mistakes Of The Finger", but that's just me. Try it and see how you like it.

mike and scott, is there a way to make the spring on a 155 even tighter than the tightest? I still find it a little loose

Buy a Spring for a Crescendo and install it in the Anthem.
That is about all I can think of.

Take your spring to Lowes, Home Depot, something along those lines. They usually have a good selection of springs. You might be able to find one that fits, but has a larger wire diameter. You might also be able to shim the spring inside the airbrush. Put some small washers between the end of the spring and the stop. As long as it doesn't compress fully and keep the trigger from traveling all the way, that should tighten it up slightly as well.

Music, I think I'll try some needle lube first, and see if that makes a difference.
