I use a VL but I don't quite understand what you mean. There's a small screw in the valve assembly (if you look into the part where you attach the air hose you'll see it). Try tightening it, it could be loose. Don't do it up to tight, just til it won't turn any more.

If that doesn't work, screw the red handle off and tighten the large Needle adjusting sleeve (part 33).This will tighten the rocker assembly so it pushes harder against the trigger, holding it in tighter. I tighten mine until the large threaded part is about a centimetre inside the main body of the airbrush ( about 1/2 an inch to you yanks).

Hope this helps.

There's a thin spring in the air valve assembly. It might need replacing. I'm just making a guess. It's part 99a22 on the dixieart site. You can also buy the whole air valve assembly there for under $6.

Anybody know whats going on with my airbrush?
(by the way I am new to airbrushing)
The trigger kinda feels like it wants to pop out when Im pulling back.
Like its not tight and would fall out if the needle was not there.
When I pull back and and my finger lets up from pushing down a little the trigger will get loose and my finger would pull it out if it could.

I hope I am clear.
Its a VL Double-Action Airbrush Paasche
