Revell and Humbrol enamel thinners

I believe both are oil-based enamel thinners (I've only used Humbrol) so you can use them for thinning Tamiya enamels. You can also use mineral spirits or turpentine to thin. They're cheaper and work just as well. I use them personally with my Tamiya and MM enamels. Hope this helps.

Tamiya is available both in acrylic and enamel, in bottles and sprays.
You should be able to use the same thinner as the Humbrol, though personally I've used Testor's MM Airbrush Thinner for enamels.

ditto far as i know the only Tamiya made or sold is Acrylic and if you use enamal thinner in them you will get something.. prob soup....

The only Humbrol I know is oil-based enamel, while the only Tamiya (in jars) I know of is water-based acrylic.
