Check Kalmbach's list of modeling publications. They have several good books or magazines on the painting of figures usings oils, enamels, and acrylics. They're well worth the price.

How to paint 1/35 figures?

Hi all,

I am new to this forum so i guess i dun really know whether this is the right place to pose this question.

I recently converted to modeling 1/35 armor after modeling aircrafts for a few years. I was amazed when i saw some really nicely painted figures (as i dun usually do them while modeling 1/72 aircraft).

I know of the method using oil paints, but would like to have some advice using Tamiya acrylic paints to achieve similiar effects. Currently, i intend to paint Dragon's 1/35 US Marine set.

So hope some nice soul could give me some tips on how to do it as i really know nuts about this. Thx a lot in advance!!
