Burnt Iron

I use Gunze Sangyo's "Burnt Iron" color.

But I am sure that you will get plenty of tips from other forum members.

Modelmaster make a "burnt iron" in their metalliser range. The bottle says it is meant for airbrushing only, but I brush paint it without any problems!

Model master also has a burnt steel in their line also..

And there's burnt aluminum, which is a pinkish shade, in Polly Scale. I love MM burnt iron. I turn the bottle over for a minute to let the pigment fall down into the cap, then brush it on to exhaust stacks or use it to highlight high-heat areas.

MM Burnt Iron and Burnt Metal does not have Numbers on the bottles. They are Buffing Metalizers and are on the rack in the Metalizer section.
