Your school has airbrushs?! Cool! My school barely has enough budget for regular brushes.

Thanks All, for your help-you see, my airbrush is actually my schools, and i don't want to use their 'paint' which isn't really paint at all, and you can't paint a tank with blaze orange. Also, i didn't want to break any of them-as that would be bad.

I use it with my ab and have never had any problems.

The thinning ratio also depends on the exact bottle of paint you have. There is a lot of variation. I have some MM paints that needed to be thinned at probably 2:1 or 3:1 to spray properly, but I also have gotten bottles that were so thin that they spayed fine without any thinning.

ModelMaster paints are designed for use in an airbrush. Absolutely no problem. They don't need much thinning, but it all depends on your AB/Compressor set up & how you like to paint.

Absolutely! I understand it's best to thin it (with the manufacturers thinner, for best results) to about the consistency of milk. Ratios? I think it all boils down to consistency. And I believe the acryl paints should be a different consistency than milk; check the forums.

Obviously, you'd need to use water for the acryl paints and thinner for the enamel ones.

Also, I'd suggest sifting through the forums before you post a question that has undoubtedly been very well documented many, many times.

Happy modelling!

I was wondering(look at title) if you could do that. And if you can, is it recomendable? Also, do you have to thin it down any to get better color/not splatter? And finally what would be a good ratio/what kind of thinner-paint thinner/water?

Thank you all very much!
