My Dad is a plumber so the magic fix for everything is silicon around here. If anything breaks just wait a few minutes and you'll here "No worries , just whack a bit of silicon on it, it'll be right". Works well on airbrushes too, with the added bonus that it will bounce back into your hand when you drop the airbrush.
Here's a tip I'll give you for free: If a window on your car ever gets broken, a good replacement is a big sheet of clear plastic and duct tape. A bit of silicon around the edges will seal it up nicely. Worked for me one time.
