cool, that's really cheap!!!!! Although yuo might be able to get finer lines if you get yourself a regulator... You probably won't see a tremendous difference between that and the good brands, but you will probably see a much smoother spray pattern with more consistency on how well it sprays and that sputters less, i(f your sputters at all). But if it works for you, and you got it for under 10$, yuo are INCREDIBLY lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drop your pressure down to about 10 psi, thin the paint about 1:1, and spray about an inch from the surface. I bet you can get that 1/4" down to about 1/8"

That AB looks exactly like one offered by Harbor Freight Tools for $10. A few weeks ago I picked up two of these at the local outlet; they were on sale for $4.99 -

They also have a Dual-Action for $20. Parts breakdown and numbering is the same as a Badger 150. I got one of these about 10 years ago; it works great -

MusicCity is right - experiment with lower pressures and thinning ratios; you should be able to do some pretty fine lines. Good luck!

Gass is right, the first is a single-action external mix, the second is internal mix dual-action. BTW - Harbor Freight does ship to The Great White North, eh?

actually harbour freight does ship to canada but you will have to talk to there live customer service via internet messaging on there web site or phone there non 1-800 number.

Just be careful guys! I bought some of the same airbrushes from HB but you have to watch out as they use a low grade brass and can split the needle valve assembly real easy.

Don't buy cheap airbrushes, pay a bit more and get a good one that will last you a loooong time.

Those airbrushes looks a lot like the Badger 350... and i bet the 350 is way better quality. like Model Museum said, a good airbrush will outlast a 'cheap' one - by a long time.
