i spray lacquer thinner through my CS all the time with no adverse effects as of yet. the main danger is soaking the airbrush submerged in lacquer thinner, as this is not necessary under most conditions. if you do have to soak the airbrush, make sure only the front portion of the brush is submerged no deeper than the front of the color cup. i have never had to soak my CS because the places where the paint touches is easily cleaned when broken down. later.
