Airbrush cleaning tools.

One member some time ago asked me what I use to clean my brushes with.
Can't remember who it was so I reply here, some other forum members might also be interested.

Here are the tools:


and the thingy unfolded:



As you can see(badly) it is simply a selectiong for very fine round metal files, but great for cleaninng nozzles and such.

i have a similar set of micro brushes myself MM. work great for reaching hard to get places, and leave no fuss or debris. later.

Micro brushes are great stuff, IMHO.

To be honest only had to use the other tool, once.

agreed. MAN, you'd have to be steady handed to clean a micro tip with that small set of files you have!! i shudder at the thought!!LOL. later.

If you know anybody that works in a hospital or surgery center they can score you some brushes used to clean out scopes. The cleaner set shown in the picture is also known in the welding trade as a welding ip reamer and may be cheaper through a welding supply place??

I use interdental brushes also. I bought a package of the small ones a few years back in Walmart. I drilled a hole in the end of a piece of sprue & super-glued the brush into it.

I knew they looked familiar... but yeah I remember using those way back when. I haven't welded in probably 20 yrs but something in the back of my mind kept reminding me they looked like something I have seen...
