lol! wipe it down with a little thinner and then polish it with a soft cloth.. it will look good as new!

Have you hooked up the regulator yet? turn that thing down about 10psi and try it again, you'll love it even more!!!

and the more u use it the better you will like it.... and deffintly get that regulator hooked up. it sure helps in controling your spraying...

well actually, I haven't gotten the regulator yet. It probably got to the address today (friday) but my mom hasn't gotten a chance to go get it today, so I should get it on monday, i think.

yeah I just checked UPS and it got there.. someone named Alleyne signed for it... so if your mom goes in monday and Alleyne has bloodshot eyes and smells of fresh lacquer thinner, with paint overspray on her fingers... you know the story haha...

good luck to ya! I dont suppose you have a Wal Mart near you but I noticed the moisture trap/filters were only 10 dollars there today, same brand as the one I got for 19 at Lowes.

Also you will need that 1/4" NPT adapter to put the airbrush hose on.. hardware stores should have it.. it's about a buck. If you DO have a Wal Mart there, they are right next to the moisture trap I talked about...

tankmaster, I'm getting my 155 on Sunday, and I'm also going to use the blue mini to power it. I'll be sure to get a regulator. There's a Lowe's on the way home from Michael's. I can't wait to try it out.

wait, a second, that's not my mom's name... this cant be good. but it might be someone from the central recieving station, so it's still probably be OK. (The place you sent it to has a central rec. station that then delivers it to individual locations, so it's probably fine.)

i do have a walmart somewhere near the general vicinity of me though, so i'll go check it out.

if you have a hardware store closer than Wal Mart you can get the 1/4" connector there no doubt.. I hope you like it! Like I said, it's marked in 4psi increments... but you can "guestimate" the pressure...

You hope I like it? It's a regualtor, I'm sure it'll be the best regulator I've ever worked with! (and the only one). Can't tell you how much I appreciate you sending it to me. It doesn't matter if it's in 4psi increm. I'll mark it off where I like the pressure set, it wont be a problem.

no prob man.. I am sure once you're able to spray with the pressure toned down you're gonna think it's the best thing since take-out pizza! I hope ya got the 1/4 adapter... I couldn't think of getting something in the mail and having to wait to use it haha...

I will... my first paint job with the regulator and anthem will most likely be a fw-190 a8. 1/72. that awesome little kit from revell. anyhow, that's going to be my first kit with aftermarket stuff too! im gonna use a czech master PE cockpit and true details resin wheels. oh yeah and eagle cal decals. i'll have pics of it up some time in 2005. this kit is gonna be a lot of firsts.

I also have one and its a good airbrush, easy to assemble and clean.

Yes, you can I have. I bought mine at Home Depot, It is a Husky and if memory serves me right it was about $19.00. But any decent size Hardware store will carry regulators.

Ahhh, regulators. I was having some problems... I was only gettin' some 5 psi tops outta the reg. but some teflon tape bettered things, but i still have a pretty major leak somewhere... more teflon tape and tighter fittings ought to do it though! thanks again.

are you using the moisture trap or no? thats a common source of leaks... if not tighten (not TOO tight) your connections... maybe use some soapy water and see where the leaks are, just brush/dab it around all the fittings until you can see the bubbles... then tighten those...

worst case scenario is get some pipe dope and put on the threads before the teflon tape...


WAIT!!! look into the body of the blue ice as best you can, make sure the rubber tube that sends the air to the regulator is not twisted in any way... that happened to me with the SAME results... all you have to do is untwist the 1/4 connection until it is strait then with a wrench or holding the nipple tighten the air hose on.....
