Posted by ipms40049 on Saturday, December 4, 2004 7:09 PM
Im trying to order the Iwata Eclipse CS ECL 4500 from Dixie art. The description says for this new model I need a different nozzle and tip. Are these called the nozzle and nozzle cap? or what

Hmmmm....I know it takes a different air hose then say a Paasche....I'm not sure what they mean by a different nozzle and or tip. When I got mine I ordered the AB and the breaded air hose.

the airbrush should come with the nozzle and tip... I just looked and it didn't say this when I clicked on the link... it is a one needle/one tip brush... you would need to order the hose but shouldnt need anything else...

I think that they say that the new gravity Eclipse airbrushes did not accept the nozzles and tips of the suction feed models depicted on the former picture.

Thank you all for coming José

as Tom mentioned, there is only one needle/nozzle combo for this particular airbrush, so it shouln't have a choice. i ordered my CS from dixie and just clicked on the Eclipse Hp-cs 4500 and she went in the shopping cart, then i filled in all the blanks and had a WONDERFUL airbrush at my doorstep within a week. good luck. later.

Sorry, admin won't allow me to express my opinion about aztek airbrushes. Wink [;)]

Of course I am just kidding around, my first A/B was a badger 200 siphon feed.
Actually got a second one after the first one went south, later on switched over to gravity-feed and a different maker.

To be honest never held an Iwata in my hand don't sell them where I live, but the A/B's I used/use are made by the same people.

I own an Iwata HP CH and a Sotar 2020-2 ( among other ones) and I had three Aztek which I found fair ( but I wanted to go more " metal" ) In fact , every Paasche I touched made me feel that they are absolute crap. Am I alone to think that ? And so many people saying that Aztek is crap. Why such eagerness ? I think what I think about Paasche but I wish you a good time if this is the machine you like.

Thank you all for coming José
