I use a quick disconnecton the airbrush and leave the hose bolted to the tank.
This way I can store my airbrushes seperately and savely away.

My tank is dedicated to my airbrush so I attatched the airline right to the regulator. I pressure my tank with an electric inflator that has a quick connect on it to attatch to the tank.

I just finished doing the same thing. I put a quick disconnect on the tank so that I don't have to haul a lot of hoses and stuff down to the gas station everytime I fill it.

I use quick disconnects on mine just for the ease of breaking it all down and storing it away at the end of the painting day.

I have a commercial grade compressor that I use for other stuff. So, I put a quick disconnect between the tank/compressor and the regulator. I leave my airbrush connected to the regulator which is bracket mounted to my work bench. I have a pretty much dedicated work bench for my modeling which helps.

Airbrush Question
Posted by coldwar68 on Friday, May 16, 2003 11:19 AM
Ok, I have put together an air holding tank to drive my airbrush...my question now is do I attach a quick disconnect to the airbrush/tank or stay with wrenching the brush connection to the tank? What are your suggestions or experiences?

Thanks,
Jerry
