Stripping Krylon Fusion Paint

Yes. The can is white with a grey cap. The usual red circle with "Krylon" text inside. Below the red oval it says "Primer" and there are 5 balls, each a different color ranging from cream to black. Below the balls it says "Dries in 12 Minues or less" I would let the primer dry at least 24 hours though. That way you get a full cure. They say an hour but I disagree. Keep your coats light and quick. Otherwise it builds up in a hurry. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I had the same thing happen. Only thing i could use to get the paint off was sandpaper. I belive the fusion does what it says and chemically bonds to the plastic and I think once the bond is made the paint can not be stripped.

For future reference, if you use the Krylon quick dry primer before the fusion brake fluid will strip both off after 24 hours in brake fluid.

The only other 2 things I can think of you may want to try are Castrol Superclean or Brake Fluid.
I have used both to strip paint off with no ill effects on plastic, but I never used it on Krylon, so you may want to test it on a test piece first.

easy off will only strip enamels and acrylics, so i think you need to use something more aggressive to strip that laquer. here is where the problem lies, cos anything more aggressive than easy off will attack the plastic. i think someone should have a recepie for a good stripping solution that you can mix up.
