i would go for the badger 155

I picked up a Paasche VL at my LHS. I paid 80 bucks for it but I am one of those guys that would rather drop the extra 20 bucks to have the thing RIGHT now. I have used it a few times now and I can say that I really like the airbrush. It's well built, has a good confortable feel and I can spray from a pen line thick to a whole lot bigger.

I would personally recommend the good, old, trusty Paasche VL or the VLS. Not too big of a price but great quality!

If you're looking for a used airbrush, I may be able to help. I have a new, never used Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS for sale (same as the one you linked in your post). Also, a Iwata HP-CS, the very one the guys are referring to. My airbrushes are in mint condition, as I tak very good care of my tools. The reason I am willing to part with them is because I'm saving up to by another Iwata; specifically the Eclipse HP-BS (same as the CS, only smaller 1/16 oz. color cup). I'm asking $70.00 each or if you want both, just $140.00. If intrested, reply by email so I can forward you photos so you can inspect the units for yourself. Also I will through in an extra needle and nozzle, as well as photos of models I have airbrushed with the HP-CS. Let me know what you think.

I have the Badger 360 which is same as the 155 except you can use it in gravity or siphon feed.. and its great.. best Airbrush i've used... also have the 175 and its pretty good to... 155/360 is easy to clean . I went through several Azteks before I broke down and bought badger.. ...

I just got the HP-CS about two weeks ago after having an Aztek for several years and I'm addicted to it. The ease of use and ease of clean up is amazing. Im so addicted, I'm asking buddies to let me AB their projects.

go for it! I have heard nothing but great things from Iwata owners;... If I were to buy an Iwata I would get the HP-CS or the HP-CR... they area gravity fed and do better detail.... bu I am sure Chris (saltydog) will be along soon and he is the Iwata "strong man" and can tell ya all about it!!!

an upper end Badger or an Iwata are things you couldnt go wrong ith IMHO... also check out the Omni's they are good too...

personally from the 3 brushes I own, the 155 is all that and more!!! also have the 175 which is good, and the 350 which is ok... but LOVE the 155!!!!

D'oh! I was gonna offer my old aztek! Foiled again!

120??? you need to check out dixieart.com and see their prices... or about $60something dollars you can get the set for the 155 or 175 Badgers, hose, bottles etc... only thing missing is a compressor! worth the 4 to 7 days to get the stuff in the mail for the price... for about $40 you can get the Paasche VL there as well, complete kit... it's worth the few extra dollars to buy new that way (thru dixieart)

Personally, I would go out and get a new one.
First of all you will get something good and might not have to relearn the skills if/when you decide to get a new airbrush.

IME, most people don't replace their airbrushes unless they are broken or their needs have changed.
